Traveling Gallery Group Show, 2024
dreamworld is a work in progress film score, made in collaboration with sound designer Richy Carey. Cameron made this work with her grandfather to experiment with sound as a site for time travel. The work uses deep listening practices, field recording and musical experiments as a celebration of non-linear and multi-versal communications. Accompanying the work is a A5 publication featuring visual scores, production images and new writing; works in progress for Cameron's 16mm film work for the first words of a dreamworld.
Travelling Gallery’s Season 1 2024 exhibition was A Bonnie Way, Unravelling the seduction of the countryside, a group show organised in partnership with Hospitalfield. It toured between March and May 2024.
The exhibition presented the work of three artists, Ufuoma Essi, Bobbi Cameron and Sarah Rose from Hospitalfield’s Residencies programme, whose work explored their experiences of life and conversations in rural and semi-rural place. The artworks were accompanied by an index of community-based publications.
